"If you want to build a ship, don't gather men together to procure wood and to distribute the work, but rather teach them about yearning for the wide and endless ocean."
Antoine de Saint Exupéry

Even if we do not build ships, we are still convinced that only motivated and responsible employees can ensure the success of Metabo. This belief is reflected in the organizational structure of the company. Metabo has subdivided individual divisions into independent fractals, thereby creating smaller companies within the company. By transferring responsibility to the individual specialized departments, and therefore to the individual employee, a completely new "culture of responsibility" is created. This responsibility is demanding but - at the same time - the individual gains creative freedom and flexibility.
